This is the second time Miss K has been in my studio & she rocks her sessions every time!
This year I tried a few different things – I sent out a model call earlier to give me the chance to try stuff like: outdoor boudoir, making a promo video, playing with different outfit ideas, and trying out a milk bath…
Milk bath?! Yep, we tried that. Probably not going to be doing any more in the near future - since it turns out my bathtub isn’t the best one for these types of shoots – but it was fun to try out something new! Despite everything Miss K was a trooper (the water in my studio goes from cold to colder) and I couldn’t have asked for a better woman to be my “model” for this shoot!
We started outside the bathtub first, though. She wanted to go with a more cozy/comfy look this time around, since last time we went with a lingerie look.
“I loved the pictures! I never worry about my insecurities because I know Cassie knows how to pose to best accentuate my features.” – Miss K
For those of you who aren’t fond of lingerie, boudoir really isn’t about “sexy little things” from VS…it’s about being you! I love how Miss K put it:
“I think these are even better than the first ones I did a year ago. My body is the same but I felt more me this time. I wasn’t trying to be sexy but by being myself, these pictures turned out sexier than my first shoot. If you’re a comfy sweats girl, don’t try to be a sexy lingerie lady. You are what makes you sexy. Your outfits just add to you but you are ultimately what shines through in these photos.” – Miss K
Yes, that is a Gone With the Wind mug!!!! Did I mention how amazing Miss K is?!
