QUESTIONS

Your boudoir session will be held at my boutique studio in Boone, Iowa. To see more about the studio:

We start at 10 am Monday-Fridays. From hair & makeup to your ordering/viewing session, it’s about 5 hours. Check out full experience details HERE!

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?

If you’re doing your session as a gift, I recommend scheduling at least 5 weeks before you need your products.

We book up months in advance, so it’s always best to reach out sooner than later. Best way to reach me is through the CONTACT FORM.

WILL MY PHOTOS BE POSTED ONLINE?

Due to the nature of boudoir photography, I want you to know that I take your privacy very seriously. Your photos will not be used anywhere unless I have written permission from you to do so.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WEAR!

No worries, we’ve got you!

There are SO many options for outfits & we’ll chat about the most popular options during your consultation. Plus you’ll get a “What to Wear” Guide after booking!

We also team up with a local lingerie shop to help you shop with confidence.

There’s a studio client closet as well that you can borrow from during your session with various sizes. I still strongly recommend bringing 2-3 of your own outfits just in case.

CAN I BRING A FRIEND?

You may bring a female friend to the photoshoot as long as they’re 100% supportive. No negativity is allowed.

Your significant other is welcome to come to the ordering/viewing session as long as they are supportive & understand the pricing beforehand.

Can I make payments?

I offer custom Pre-Payment Plans on all products/images.

The session fee is paid in full at the time of booking.

Once booked, you can choose whether you’d like to Pre-Pay in full, utilize the in-house custom Pre-Payment Plans, or go through PayPal Credit.

Even better: if you set up a Pre-Payment Plan for a Collection, you get extra COMPLIMENTARY BONUSES!!

SHOULD I TAN BEFORE MY SESSION?

I like to leave this up to personal preference. If you do prefer to get a bronze glow for your photoshoot, I highly recommend Bronze515 for a custom spray tan!

Make sure to not go too dark and follow her recommendations on timing (plan ahead to do your spray tan a few days before your photoshoot.)

WAXING, SHAVING, OH MY! WHAT DO I DO?

If you plan on waxing any hair, make sure to do so a few days before your session. This gives your skin time to heal and lose any redness.

If you prefer shaving, make sure to do a close shave the morning of your photoshoot. Honestly, you know your hair and body best, so just prepare the same way you would before a big date or first day at the beach. Also, don’t forget to touch up those eyebrows!

Once your session is booked, you will get a full “How to Prepare” Guide to help you get ready.

You will be sent a Welcome Brochure that goes over several details & a link to set up a Consultation or Book Online.
