Cancer isn’t exactly on the list of “fun things to blog about”, but today that is the topic. My grandparents had different kinds of cancer during their lifetime and I know it’s one of those things that touches many of us. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness month and just around the corner, I am looking forward to being a part of Race for the Cure in Des Moines for chance to do my part.
Then I started wondering how I could get my business involved – owning a business gives me the opportunity to get creative and find ways to give back to causes that are meaningful to me and my clients.
I decided that to help raise money for the cure, I pledge to donate 5% of all profits on sessions scheduled in October to finding a cure for breast cancer. If you’ve been thinking about visiting the studio for a boudoir session, now is the time to not only have a fun and customized boudoir experience, it is also an opportunity to give back to a good cause!
