The Brick Room is the space that has changed the most in the last 2.5 years that we’ve been in the “new” studio. I don’t know if 2.5 years means it’s new anymore, but it still feels like it with the flexibility to make changes whenever I dream up another idea!
When designing the studio, I was sure that the bed would be in the brick room. I was trying to re-create one of my favorite spaces in my last studio.
It was cute in the space, but I couldn’t quite figure out what was missing until one day when I moved it to the bookshelf & moved the gold chair out.
Little did I know that the gold chair would find a new home exactly where the bed used to be… with a few plants added in. The plants are the newest addition to the studio – just added at the end of May (2025)! We’ve also added a faux fireplace, shades for the windows to control light, & a new paper backdrop system that I’ve only just started testing out!!
The swing & mirror are the 2 things that haven’t changed in this room.
