Miss H | Outdoor Iowa Boudoir

This session has me dreaming of Summer! It also shows you how far behind I am on blogging boudoir sessions… this was taken in August. So, slowly getting photos from all of last year on here!

Tell how you felt about your picturesMy pictures are a great reminder of all the hard work I put in over the last 8 months making myself a priority again. I had lost about 30 pounds. I’m pretty confident I suppose, so being in underwear outside wasn’t much different than a swimsuit for me. Plus I knew Cassie would know how to pose me etc.
Tell your favorite part(s) of your experienceBeing outside! It posed a few more challenges… sand, itchy grass, mosquitos and sweaty hair. BUT SO WORTH IT. As long as my nice fancy underwear didn’t get messed up, I was fine with whatever. I kept thinking I looked awkward, but the Cassie would show me a camera shot, and I’d think damn, okay, this is going pretty good haha.
What advice do you have for other women who are considering a boudoir session? We are all different sizes, shapes, colors etc. Don’t worry about any of that because your shots will be beautiful, and you’ll feel beautiful! This is literally what boudoir photographers do all the time, and if you are working with Cassie, you’ll have quality instruction and posing. It’s amazing what a little tilt of the leg can do in a photo- you feel awkward but then it turns out amazing. Have fun with it and embrace the experience.

While we’re stuck in this Winter wonderland, it’s hard to believe Summer is on it’s way. I’m currently booking sessions for those warmer months, so if you’re wanting to get in the studio, make sure to send me an e-mail today! Click the diamond to contact me!
