Your consultation, boudoir session, and ordering session will be held at my glamorous boutique studio in downtown historic Boone, Iowa.
We will first schedule a consultation. This will help us plan your dream boudoir photo shoot! During the consultation we will talk about hair, make up, outfits, products, payment, prepping yourself for the shoot, etc. We will also pick out a day/time for your boudoir session! To officially book your photo shoot, you will need to sign a contract and pay the session fee as a retainer. This ensures that day and time is reserved just for you!
Once you have scheduled your photo shoot and paid your retainer, it is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please notify me at least 1 week before your photo session. For emergencies, we can apply your retainer to another date.
We will schedule your ordering session for approximately 2 weeks after your boudoir session takes place. At that time, you can pick out which photos and custom products you would like. Your order will be ready to be picked up or shipped about 2-3 weeks after it is paid in full. I will notify you as soon as they arrive!
Cash, Checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Due to the nature of boudoir photography, I want you to know that I take your privacy very seriously. Your photos will not be used anywhere unless I have written permission from you to do so.
Your photo session allows for 3 different outfits! I recommend you bring 5-6 along and we can narrow it down from there while you’re getting your hair and make up done.
Most people find it more difficult to find their sexy inner goddess with an audience, so I recommend that you don’t bring anyone else along to your photo shoot. However, if you feel like you’ll be more comfortable with a friend, you may bring one female to your photo shoot. Men are not allowed in the studio.
I like to leave this up to personal preference. If you do prefer to get a bronze glow for your photoshoot, I highly recommend Bronze515 for a custom spray tan! Also, make sure to not go too dark and follow her recommendations on timing (plan ahead to do your spray tan a few days before your photoshoot).
If you plan on waxing any problem hair areas, make sure to do so a few days before your session. This gives your skin time to heal and lose any redness. If you prefer shaving, make sure to do a close shave the morning of your photo shoot. Honestly, you know your hair and body best, so just prepare the same way you would for a big date or the first day at the beach. Also, don’t forget to touch up those eyebrows!
Drink plenty of water leading up to your session, eat breakfast the day of, and wear loose clothing to the photo shoot (this prevents marks and lines on your skin from tight clothing). Depending on your hair care needs, you may want to get a quick trim and/or touch up your roots. Relax and enjoy your boudoir session!
