What to Wear: Maternity Boudoir

If you’re planning on a maternity boudoir session to celebrate this amazing time in your life, then you might have wondered things like:

What should you wear?  How different is maternity boudoir from regular boudoir?  When should I plan my session?

If you’re planning on a boudoir session, we should do your photos around 32-36 weeks – that way you have a lovely baby bump to show off.

Outfit-wise, maternity boudoir isn’t that much different from regular boudoir.  Pose-wise, we tend to go a little more “motherly” and there will be a lot of showing off the belly area!

Let’s get back to the “what to wear” portion now.  Honestly, it’s not much different than regular boudoir in that you want to find things that flatter & make you feel amazing!

You can still rock the bra/panty look while pregnant or cozy up with a t-shirt/cardigan/tank top/etc. & socks.  I also adore pretty slips, dresses, robes, and even a lace tablecloth (see photo in lower left corner)!
